Christmas Sweet Treats

Hi everyone, today I am going to show you how to make a Christmas Sweet Party Mix. Hope you enjoy it... Don't forget to try this recipe at home. This recipe is perfect for those who have a sweet tooth. ;)  

Ingredients : 
  • 1 (12 ounce) package of crispy corn and rice cereal
  • 5 ounce of slivered almonds
  • 6 ounce toasted & chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup of butter 
  • 3/4 cup of dark syrup 
  • 1 1/2 light brown sugar

Method ; 

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Lightly grease a large roasting pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix crispy corn and rice cereal, slivered almonds and toasted, chopped pecans.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and mix with dark corn syrup and light brown sugar. Pour the mixture over the crispy corn and rice cereal mixture. Stir and shake to coat all the nuts and cereal.
  4. Pour the coated mixture into the prepared roasting pan. Stirring approximately every 15 minutes, cook 1 hour in the preheated oven. Cool on wax paper, and store in airtight containers.

Christmas Treats

Hi everyone, today I am going to be telling you how to make a Christmas Snacks for a Christmas party if you are going to have one or you can enjoy it with friends, family or even alone. 

Difficulty = Easy
Portions = 40 

1. Christmas gingerbread



Ingredients & Tools :

Method : 


  1. Step 1 
    Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 large oven trays with baking paper.
  2. Step 2
    Place butter, golden syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil. Remove from heat. Add bicarbonate of soda and stir to combine. Transfer to a large heatproof bowl. Set aside to cool.
  3. Step 3
    Sift flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and baking powder over butter mixture. Add the egg and stir until combined. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead until smooth. Divide dough into two portions. Shape each portion into a disc and cover with plastic wrap. Place in the fridge for 45 minutes or until firm.
  4. Step 4
    Roll one portion between 2 sheets of baking paper until 5mm thick. Using a 6-7cm Christmas pastry cutters, cut shapes from dough, re-rolling scraps. Place on the lined trays, 3cm apart to allow for spreading. Repeat with remaining gingerbread portion.
  5. Step 5
    Bake in preheated oven, 1 tray at a time, for 8 minutes or until just firm to touch. Remove from oven and set aside on trays for 5 minutes to cool before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Decorate gingerbread using writing fudge and rainbow choc chips, if desired.

Sleepover snacks

On today's blog, I am going to tell you all how to make some amazing sleepover snacks that is really tasty and cool to share with friends. Don't forget to invite your friend over to enjoy these snack with you. Try it at home.

Popcorn : This snack is perfect for movie night with friend.
Here is how to make it :

Ingredients :
  • Popcorn (Butter Popcorn) 
  • Microwave
  • Hands 
  • Friends
Instructions:

Pop the popcorn in the microwave and let it pop. Once it is done open the bag and put the popcorn in a bowl. Try to decorate the bowl while waiting for the popcorn, that will make your sleepover the best sleepover ever!

For this recipe you might want to prepare it a few days before your sleepover.

Chocolate chip ice cream sandwich

Just watch this video. It is really cool and refreshing for the sleepover snacks. Try making it with your friends because it is fun.

Homemade Chocolate Brownies

Hi everyone on this post i will be showing my homemade chocolate brownies from scratch. It tastes really good. Here are the things you will be needing for this recipe:

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
 
Mix sugar, cocoa, eggs and vanilla; gradually add flour and salt. When that is mixed, blend in butter. Spread in a 9x13 inch pan.Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
No baking soda or powder is needed for this recipe. Nuts are optional.
